Cloud announcements earlier in the year may have hinted that VMware might be open to developing a self-branded public cloud, but those speculations appear to have been off the mark.
Rather than touting it’s own public cloud, VMware will be working with IaaS partners to develop a hybrid cloud strategy in which on-premises VMware infrastructure melds with public IaaS to yield one seamless cloud.
