Visual Studio Gets Better JavaScript and HTML5 Support

Earlier this year, Microsoft promised to add more HTML5 support to Visual Studio, and now it is making good on that promise with a Web standards update for the IDE. According to Microsoft’s Scott Hanselman, the update “adds better support for HTML5, CSS3 and new JavaScript features to ALL versions of Visual Studio.”

Earlier this month, Microsoft said that HTML5, CSS and JavaScript will be key to developing applications for the next version of its flagship operating system, Windows 8.
