One the most secretive U.S. intelligence agencies is releasing some of its code under open source licenses. In a surprising move, the National Security Agency (NSA) now has a public Github page Currently, the main NSA page has 11 different repositories, and its Information Assurance group has a separate Github page with 21 more repositories.

The NSA shares open source code as part of its Technology Transfer Program.
