For mobile development firms, beta testing apps can be a huge headache. Now a startup called TestFairy is promising to eliminate some of the pain.
To use the service, developers first upload an Android app. TestFairy then sends out invites to beta testers. As users interact with the apps, TestFairy delivers key metrics to the developers, and it can even capture screenshots or videos of what users are seeing.
For now, the service is free, but the company plans to add paid services in the future.
