In a new survey of 300 IT executives sponsored by SoftwareONE, 37 percent of respondents listed unpredictable costs as their top issue with cloud computing. In addition, one third of companies said they struggle with visibility into cloud resource usage.
Those challenges may be leading some to double down on using their own in-house data centers. Forty-five percent of respondents are increasing or maintaining their on-premise deployments this year, and 53 percent said they were committed to a hybrid cloud approach.
