Salesforce is showcasing twenty Apple Watch apps built by third-party developers using the Salesforce Wear developer platform. “Third-party apps are key to driving mainstream wearable adoption,” said Lindsey Irvine, head of Salesforce Wear. “The application is what’s going to lay the foundation to make these devices more than gadgets, to make them real business tools.”
The highlighted apps include BetterWorks Wear, ClickSoftware FieldExpert, Bracket Labs’ TaskRay, VLocity Wear and NewVoiceMedia ConnectWorld for Wearables.
Salesforce Wear also supports Google Glass, Android Wear, Samsung Gear 2, Pebble, and the Myo armband, as well as Apple Watch.
