Data management and storage vendor Rubrik has launched Polaris, which the company says is the first cloud development platform for creating data management applications. It can handle both NoSQL and relational databases, and it offers a global policy framework, workflow orchestration and deep data intelligence.
The company also unveiled Polaris GPS, a software as a service (SaaS) data management application that runs on the Polaris platform. Includes dashboard, analytics, reporting, system activity monitoring and data management policy implementation capabilities.
