The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Italian eyewear manufacturer Luxottica is working with Google on a new version of its Glass wearable. According to Luxottica CEO Massimo Vian, Glass 2 will be released soon. He told shareholders, “What you saw was version 1. We’re now working on version 2, which is in preparation.”
Google halted sales of its first Glass device in January.
Vian also said that his company is working with Intel on a product that will be released early in 2016.
