Evans Data has released a new survey about mobile development testing and debugging practices. According to the firm, about 75 percent of apps have between one and ten bugs when they ship. About 20 percent have even more bugs, while only 5 percent have no bugs at all.
Other key findings in the report include the following:
- 70 percent of iOS developers test their apps on five or fewer devices.
- Two-thirds of Android developers test their apps on two to four versions of Android.
- 80 percent of developers push out app updates at least once a month.
