According to a new report from Business Insider Intelligence, app-install ads will likely generate $5.5 billion in revenue for the mobile development industry this year. By 2020, total revenue could top $7 billion. In 2015, app-install ads accounted for 25 percent of U.S. mobile ad revenue, and 80 percent of developers planned to increase their spending on these types of ads.
