Red Hat has launched opensource.com as an open source community Web site.
According to a report on The H, “The Drupal powered site has been created by Red Hat but Jim Whitehurst, Red Hat’s President and CEO, says ‘This will not be a site for Red Hat, about Red Hat. Instead this will be a site for open source, about the future.'”
The site is laid out in five channels: business, education, government, life and law.
Developer.com features tutorials, news, and how-tos focused on topics relevant to software engineers, web developers, programmers, and product managers of development teams. In addition to covering the most popular programming languages today, we publish reviews and round-ups of developer tools that help devs reduce the time and money spent developing, maintaining, and debugging their applications.
