The Raspberry Pi 3 goes on sale Feb. 29. The $35 Internet of Things (IoT) development board promises 50 percent faster performance than its predecessor, Raspberry Pi 2, and ten times faster than the original Raspberry Pi. That performance boost is thanks largely to a new quad-core chipset.

The new board also adds support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It runs Raspbian OS and other similar Linux distributions, and a version of Windows 10 IoT Core for the device is expected soon.
