Puppet Labs acquired the MCollective open source project in early October. This week, MCollective 1.0 was released.
Puppet Labs is an open source data center automation company based in Portland, Oregon.
“The real-time capabilities of MCollective are already influencing Puppet’s approach to data center automation,” The Marionette Collective founder R.I. Pienaar said.
