A new report from app intelligence firm Sensor Tower claims that Pokémon Go generated $200 million in revenue during its first 30 days on the market. By comparison, the year’s second biggest game, Clash Royale, earned $125 million in its first thirty days, and Pokémon Go earned about four times as much in its first month as the popular Candy Crush Soda Saga.
It’s worth noting that the game got a huge spike in revenue when it launched in Japan near the end of the month. It could get an even bigger boost when it becomes available in countries like Korea, India and China.
