Play Store 6.7 Improves Beta Testing Features

Google has begun rolling out version 6.7 of its Play Store, and the update to the Android app store has some features that should be popular with the mobile development industry. Most notably, Play Store 6.7 has improved its beta testing capabilities. Users can now see at a glance when they are enrolled in beta testing programs and easily join or leave such programs. In addition, they can leave feedback on the beta directly for the developer instead of posting public reviews.

The update also makes it clear when people are using a version of the app that has never been publicly released. That should help when users have stability problems with apps and aren’t sure which version of the app they are using.
