A Bangalore-based startup called pCloudy is rolling out a new service that attempts to solve one of the thorniest problems facing the mobile development industry: Android fragmentation. Few development shops can afford to purchase the myriad of different Android devices available, and testing on emulators has limitations. But pCloudy’s service allows mobile and Web developers to test their apps on a variety of different real, physical devices that can be accessed via a Web interface.
“We aim to provide the simplest cloud testing solution for application and web developers to build better apps and Web,” said pCloudy co-founder Anil Adireddi.
Currently, the service is in beta testing. They plan to start reaching out to more developers over the coming months.
