Oracle Adds More Services to Autonomous Cloud Offerings

Oracle is expanding its autonomous platform as a service with more offerings, several of which will likely be of interest to enterprise application development teams. Developer Cloud, Mobile Cloud Enterprise, Data Integration Platform Cloud and API Platform Cloud all now have autonomous capabilities. Previously, Oracle had four autonomous service available through its cloud computing service: Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud, Autonomous Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Integration Cloud and Autonomous Visual Builder.

The Developer Cloud offering will support build automation, including frameworks like Maven, Ant, Gradle, npm, Grunt, Gulp, and Bower. It will also offer capabilities for automating Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform environment provisioning.
