Developers who have been eagerly waiting for Oculus Rift virtual reality headsets don’t have much longer to wait. The Facebook-owned company announced that it will begin shipping the device to developers this week, and it has finalized the 1.0 version of its software development kit (SDK). Oculus added that it will “be in touch with next steps” for developers.
End users will be able to get the device when it goes on sale sometime during the first quarter of 2016. Oculus has said that the device will cost more than $350.
