On Monday, Bug Labs released BUG 2.0 that includes Android support and a faster CPU.
According to a Geek.com story, the newest version of Bug Labs’ prototyping platform also supports BeagleBoard and is backwards compatible with existing BUGmodules.
BUG is an open source modular device platform that developers can use to prototype new applications for wireless devices.
“The BUG is still comprised of a unique modular hardware system, integrated web services, and related apps that help companies prototype, build, test and deploy new, custom wireless devices at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional methods,” Christian Zibreg at Geek.com wrote today.
