Nokia confirmed this week that the company has chosen MeeGo over Symbian to run on their N-series smartphones.
While Nokia has worked to make Symbian relevant in today’s smartphone marketplace, it hasn’t caught on.
Ars Technica’s Ryan Paul reported that Nokia will continue to use their open source Symbian on it’s low-end mass-marketed phones, for it’s flagship N-series smartphones, open source MeeGo is their operating system of choice.
