Netflix Jumps on the HTML5 Bandwagon

Netflix currently uses Silverlight for its on-demand video service, but not for long. Like many other companies, Netflix has announced support for HTML5.

The company plans to start testing its HTML5 video player on Windows and OS X as soon as WebCrypto becomes available in the Chrome browser.
