Finnish mobile development firm Supercell has reported that it brought in €2.109 billion ($2.326 billion) in revenue during 2015 for a profit of €848 million ($964 million). The company’s best-known game, Clash of Clans, was responsible for most of the revenue. The firm had only two other games available last year: Boom Beach and Hay Day.
This year, the company launched another game, Clash Royale, which is currently at the top of the charts in the App Store. Supercell noted that it has killed 14 games without launching them.
Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen added, “Despite the financial success, we have been able to keep the company relatively small. Today we are 180 people where most people know each other by name and where people work in small and independent teams, in a zero bureaucracy environment.”
