In preparation for the arrival of the Mango update to Windows Phone 7, Microsoft has re-vamped the Web-based version of its Windows Phone Marketplace. Unlike the previous version, the new Marketplace is a true app store which allows Windows Phone users to purchase and/or download apps or re-install apps if they’ve changed phones. It also offers the full catalog of approximately 30,000 apps for the mobile platform.

The new Marketplace is currently available in 35 countries, including the United States.
