At its Connect 2017 conference, Microsoft unveiled a number of new development tools and cloud computing services. Most notably, it unveiled a preview version of Visual Studio Tools for AI, an extension for its flagship IDE that assists in the creation of AI apps. Other new Visual Studio enhancements include a Live Share feature for collaborating on code and Visual Studio App Center, a cloud-based application lifecycle solution.
Other product announcements at the event included Azure IoT Edge and Connected Environment for Azure Container Service (AKS).
