Microsoft has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) training program with classes nearly identical to the ones it offers its own employees. Called the Microsoft Professional Program in AI, the program includes 10 courses that last between eight and sixteen hours each. Students must also complete a final deep learning project to demonstrate their skills.
The course is free to attend or $99 for developers who want to obtain a certificate.
“The program is part of a larger corporate effort that also includes the enterprise developer-focused AI School, which provides online videos and other assets to help developers build AI skills,” Microsoft said in a blog post. “That program includes both general educational tools for developers looking to expand AI capabilities and specific guidance on how developers can use Microsoft’s tools and services.”
