In a bid to get more mobile development firms to use its OneDrive cloud storage service, Microsoft has released a new OneDrive API. Microsoft says that it is already using the API in some of its own apps and that the tool supports Android, iOS and the Web, as well as Windows.
The company added, “It only takes a few lines of code to set up a basic integration with our Android Picker/Saver SDK and our iOS DocumentPicker contract support.”
OneDrive competes with other cloud computing services like iCloud, Dropbox and Google Drive.
