In advance of the official release of Visual Studio 2017, Microsoft has updated .NET Core and ASP.NET Core. “The .NET Core and ASP.NET Core workload is no longer in preview. We have fixed several bugs and improved usability of .NET Core and ASP.NET Core Tooling,” blogged John Montgomery, director of program management for Visual Studio.
Last week, the Visual Studio 2017 Release Candidate was briefly unavailable while Microsoft fixed some bugs with the setup process. The IDE is now available once again, with support for the new tooling, as well as several new features.
