Microsoft has officially confirmed its purchase of Cloudyn, a company that sells monitoring and budgeting tools for multi-cloud environments. The purchase has been rumored since April with reports of a purchase price between $50 million and $70 million; however, the companies involved did not divulge the actual size of the deal.
“The Cloudyn solution will be incorporated into Microsoft’s product portfolio—offering customers the industry’s broadest set of multi-cloud management, security and governance solutions,” blogged Sharon Wagner, the founder and CEO of Cloudyn.
