Microsoft has added a “private audience” capability to its Windows 10 Dev Center. This will enable developers to test their apps and games privately, allowing only select individuals to see the app or update. “This lets you validate the experience with the audience of your choosing, while keeping the product hidden from everyone else until you are ready to make the it visible to the public,” said Microsoft in a blog post.

Developers can also now set a particular time for apps to go live for everyone, but once an app has gone public, it can’t go back to being private.
