IBM and low-code development platform vendor Mendix have signed a new agreement that will bring Mendix tools to the IBM Cloud. Mendix will also gain integration with Watson Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) services.
IBM already offers a wide array of cloud development tools, but it says that this partnership should help it attract a different segment of the developer population that uses low-code or no-code tools. Mendix says that its platform makes development ten times faster.
