In advance of the launch of its 3D motion control system next month, Leap Motion is debuting a new developer portal this week. In addition, it is providing access to two beta APIs: one that tracks palm motion and one that tracks gripping motions.
When it releases the controller on July 22, the company expects to have at least 100 apps in its app store, called Airspace. More than ten thousand developers have expressed interest in developing for the device.
