JetBrains has launched a new IDE that gives iOS and OSX developers an alternative to Apple’s XCode. The AppCode IDE for Objective-C application development helps programmers create Xcode-compliant projects, which JetBrains says should help developers avoid any restrictions Apple may place on apps created with third-party tools.
The tool will retail for $199 for companies or $99 for individual developers; however, it will be on sale through the end of the year for $149 or $69. The company also offers a free 30-day trial.
