At its Think 2018 conference, IBM unveiled some new artificial intelligence (AI) products and services aimed at enterprise application development teams. The most noteworthy is probably its Deep Learning as a Service cloud computing offering. It also released the core technology for the tool as an open source project called Fabric for Deep Learning (Ffdl, pronounced “fiddle”).

The firm also released two new features for its Watson Studio cloud-based data science platform: Model Asset Xchange (MAX), which is an app store for machine learning models, and the Center for Open-Source Data & AI Technologies (CODAIT), which aims to create AI standards while making it easier to train and manage AI models.
