IBM Buys Machine Learning Vendor AlchemyAPI

IBM has announced plans to purchase AlchemyAPI, a company that offers machine learning technology for developers. Big Blue plans to add the AlchemyAPI services to its Watson platform. AlchemyAPI’s tools can analyze and categorize text and images and promises improved performance over time.
