PwC has published a new study that examines how Hispanic Americans use their mobile devices. Because Hispanics are the fastest-growing segment of the U.S. population, they are a key demographic for many mobile development firms.
According to the report, Hispanics are much more likely than Americans as a whole to consume video on their smartphones and tablets. It found that 43 percent of Hispanics stream video on their mobile devices, compared to 25 percent of Americans as a whole. And 37 percent of Hispanics downloaded videos, compared to 17 percent of all Americans.
In addition, Hispanics were more likely than other Americans to use mobile wallets, said the report.
