Sundar Pichai, who is now the CEO of Google following the Alphabet restructuring, is shuffling his company’s executive team. The most significant of the new assignments for the mobile development industry is that Hiroshi Lockheimer has been named senior vice president over Android, Chrome OS and Chromecast. Previously, Lockheimer was a vice president for Android.
Other noteworthy promotions include Neal Mohan, who is now the senior vice president of display and video advertising, and Philip Schindler, who is now senior vice president of global sales and operations. Both were previously vice presidents.
