Puppet version 2016.5 is adding high availability (HA) features. “Implementations of Puppet are becoming more strategic,” said Tim Zonca, vice president of marketing for the DevOps tool maker. He added, “Customers were doing HA stuff with us, but it became apparent that this is something we should give our customers.”
According to the company, 75 percent of Fortune 100 companies now use the Puppet provisioning tool. Recently, the company has added several new top executives who have focused more on sales and marketing.
