Google’s Universal App Campaigns Goes Live

Google has made the Universal App Campaign feature, which it announced at the I/O Developer Conference, available through the Google Play Developer Console. The tool aims to make it as easy as possible for Android developers to market their apps through Google services, including search and YouTube. Essentially, it allows developers to set their budget and tell Google what they want to pay per user, and then Google designs and implements an ad campaign for them.

In addition, Google has launched a new user acquisition performance report. It will allow mobile development firms to track their marketing efforts from Google Play instead of having to use the Google Analytics service.
