Google is rolling out an update to Android Wear that is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The most noteworthy change in the update is a new watch face API, which will make it easier for mobile development firms to offer custom watch interfaces for wearables. In addition, the Google Play app store is getting a new category just for watch faces.
Other improvements in the release include an undo feature for dismissed cards, new theater and sunlight modes, the ability to block app notifications and an easier way to monitor battery and storage.
It may take up to two weeks for the update to reach all users.
