Google has announced that it will end support for the Google Wallet API on March 2, 2015. Mobile development firms with apps on Google Play will be able to continue using the API after that date, but everyone else, including websites that use the service to set digital goods, will need to find a replacement or their customers will encounter 404 errors.
Google did not recommend any services as a replacement for Google Wallet, and it does not plan to offer a replacement service of its own.
