Google has announced that it has begun rolling out an update for its Google Play Services for developers. One of the biggest new features in version 4.1 is support for turn-based multi-player games. The release also includes a new Google Drive API for Android that makes it easier for developers to use Google’s cloud computing service with their apps and improves battery life.

Other noteworthy updates to Google Play Service are better integration with Google+ and improved support for DoubleClick services.
