Google Releases Android Studio 3.0

Mobile development firms can now download the latest version of Google’s Android integrated development environment (IDE). Android Studio 3.1 includes Kotlin support as well as a new Profiler tool for tracking app performance problems. Other important new features include better support for Java 8, a component tree in the Layout Editor, Adaptive Icon Wizard and custom XML and downloadable fonts.

At the same time, Google is also rolling out a developer preview of Android 8.1 Oreo. It includes optimizations for Android Go, a Neural Networks API, a SharedMemory API and autofill enhancements.
