Google has released version 4.6.16 of Google Play with several noteworthy changes. The most significant tweak from a mobile development standpoint is probably the addition of password protection for in-app purchases. The move is likely a response to a class action lawsuit filed against Google by angry parents whose children racked up huge bills from in-app purchases.

The store also has a new Bulk Install feature, and it fixes a bug with the Bulk Delete function. In addition, the Google Play developers made a number of small tweaks to the interface.
