The night before the start of its ongoing I/O developer conference, Google began rolling out an update to the Google Play Android app store. The interface colors are now more vibrant, buttons have been tweaked, and there are numerous other small interface changes. More significantly, the store now includes a “app data sync” feature that saves data to Google’s cloud computing services.
Most industry watchers expect Google to provide more information about the update and to make other significant Android announcements as I/O continues.
