Distimo has released a new report which shows that Google Play now accounts for 27 percent of revenue earned by mobile development firms. That’s up from just 19 percent in November 2012.
However, the lion’s share of developer earnings still comes from Apple’s App Store, which accounted for 73 percent of developer revenues.
According to the report, much of Google Play’s revenue growth comes from the European, Japanese, and South Korean markets.
