Google has officially finalized the new Android Developer Console and made it available to mobile development firms everywhere through Google Play. The tool had been in beta since Google announced it at the Google I/O event in July. “Both Android and iOS have been very lacking in providing developers with a proper back channel to know how users are seeing, choosing and ultimately using their apps,” explained Sam Abadir, chief technology officer at appMobi. However, Abadir said the new developer console will provide devs with “some insight.”

Specifically, the Android Developer Console allows developers to track average and new user ratings with helpful graphs and to see the differences between older and newer versions of their apps. It also boasts fast performance and a streamlined app publishing process.
