Google Launches Mobile Development Design Portal

Google has a new tool that offers mobile development firms advice about designing apps and mobile websites. Called “Think with Google: Designing for Mobile Micro-Moments,” the hub includes data from tests conducted with end users on apps and websites. From that data, Google has extracted 25 design principles that it advocates developers follow.

“Mobile has shaped the way users interact with businesses and brands alike,” wrote Google’s UX research lead Jenny Gove. “Nowadays, businesses cannot simply replicate their desktop strategy on mobile; they need to re-think how to build mobile experiences that are useful for clients in their moments of need.”
