Google has released a developer preview for Android Things, its Android-based platform for the Internet of Things (IoT). According to the company, Android Things is an evolution of its previous IoT project called Brillo, and it will work with developers who have Brillo-based products to help them migrate to Android Things. The new project supports Android development tools and Google’s cloud computing services.
