On Tuesday, Google began selling tickets for its I/O 2012 developer event, and it sold out in just thirty minutes. The annual conference will take place June 27-29 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. Regularly priced tickets cost $900. At the event, the company will likely reveal its upcoming plans for Android and Google+, and it frequently gives away free hardware to attendees.
For the first time, Google is requiring that all I/O attendees have a Google+ account; they must pay using Google Wallet.
