By changing its terms of service, Google has effectively blocked Facebook from accessing the Gmail Contacts API.
“Facebook can’t access Gmail’s Contacts API unless Zuckerberg and company offer a similar API,” The Register’s Cade Metz reported.
Facebook doesn’t offer any reasonable exporting of data or API to access the company’s “social graph“.
The terms of service change was made on Thursday.
